JAM #126
Here is my attempt at a Jam on the ClubHouse Sculpting forum. I'm going for a Steam Punk Pirate Gorilla.  I had to
make the gorilla in two pieces because the oven I bake the clay in is small
This is just the start of the gorilla body. It will get bigger and a lot of hair. The picture on the left shows the shoulder
mounted canon.
A little more work on the canon.
Added a seat to the canon for it's operator.
Some gears and the start of the monkey.
I started adding a little detail to the canon and building up the monkey.
The right hand looks to big but i still have to finish bulking up and adding hair to the gorilla. The monkey also as to built
up.
Added hair to the left arm and the start of adding hair to the right arm.
The right hand looks to big but i still have to finish bulking up and adding hair to the gorilla. The monkey also as to be
built up.
Both arms done and the monkey got a new face.
Working on adding hair to the chest and legs. Looks like the canon warped a little from being bakes again.
I have to add the hair in sections because the oven I have is small and I have to lay the Gorilla on its side to bake.
Looks like the canon didn't warp, just a bad picture.
Got most of the hair done.  I'm starting on making some kind of belt that supports the canon. The feet will be the last
thing I do. I'll be using magic sculpt to make the feet part of the base.
Got some teeth
Completed the rope and added an eye patch.
Gave the big guy some feet and attached his right arm. Also made the base. I used Magic Sculpt for
everything now that he's to big for the oven. The gorilla is about 10" high to the top of it's head.
Added a little more to the monkey. A torch in it's tail, and a bunch of bananas under the seat. The gorilla get
a hammer and a skull in the center of his patch.
The hammer is an old tree trunk with a small tree as the handle.
Getting close to being done.
Thanks for checking it out.
